Yes, it is true that the human brain gets smaller as humans get older, but - and, that's the big but right there - as you get older, you are able to get rid of a lot of mind clutter because you don't focus on some of the unimportant things that once filled your head. What's important becomes more clear and people aren't as bogged down with meaningless things. I think the message seems esoteric, but it really is about that our heads are filled throughout our lives with all of the instructions and rules and if you can free yourself of that then you can really grow into your optimum person. I think that if you do your mind's work, although as your get older you might have some compromises, but the growth way outweighs the shrinking.
